About Bangalore

GENOHELIX is located in Bangalore, one of the most livable cities in India and a part of the legendary 16th Century Hindu Kingdom of Vijaya Nagar. Bangalore has by far exceeded the imaginations of its founder Kempe Gowda.

Today, it is home to more than 6 million people from all walks of life. Its cosmopolitan population basks in the glowing hospitality of local Kannadiga culture making it an investors or business big wigs hotspot. Perhaps the most fascinating things about the city are the gardens.

Located 200 miles east of the Bay of Bengal, Bangalore enjoys a salubrious climate throughout the year and almost all extensions have gardens. Rightly called the ‘Garden city of India’, Bangalore features spectacular scenery including Lalbagh, Asia’s largest Botanical Park.

There are more than 200 parks and gardens, and for the wildlife enthusiasts and hikers, Bangalore is a haven, with three national parks located in a radius of 150 miles. The city is home to a host of many famous musicians and artists.

Having been ruled by the Maharaja’s of Mysore, better known for the ‘dasara processions’, Bangalore is also emerging as a centre for art and crafts. Combine this with the sophistication of one of the world’s preferred Information Technology destinations and one of the fastest growing cities in Asia.

There are more than 300 multinational, Fortune 500 and software service companies in the ‘Silicon Valley of India’, making this a safe and vibrant community, brimming with both cultural and intellectual pursuits.
